about Madill LLC

In 1911 Sam Madill opened a blacksmith shop in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. The business served the local coal mining industry and then undertook repairs to logging machinery, leading to the invention of the first portable spar tree in 1955. Madill never looked back and became known throughout the forest industry worldwide, manufacturing and distributing logging machinery. The Madill commitment to service excellence and genuine parts supply continues today with Madill LLC – A Modern Machinery Company.

Modern has purchased the assets of the former Madill Equipment Company which included all of the parts and machine inventories as well as the rights to the Madill name.

Madill LLC has the people in place with the experience and expertise to ensure that your parts and service requirements are looked after.
